About the Senior Search Engine Optimization Manager Position

The Senior SEO Manager position is a key role at, responsible for sizable traffic and revenue contributions that is pivotal to growth marketing. The position will be 75% SEO that covers content, technical and link optimizations. The remainder of this role will be focused on broader digital activities to support eCommerce and SaaS models. The ideal candidate will have strong SEO subject matter expertise, strategic mindset, deep technical knowledge and collaboration with in-house and contracted teams.


This is a fast-paced role with a high bar for SEO and digital expertise. receives over 40 million sessions each month from longtail and head term traffic. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about rolling up their sleeves and driving growth through a comprehensive and innovative SEO program. 


  • Strategy: Build and execute a roadmap for SEO with defined growth targets via alignment with product marketing strategy, technical and link strategy
  • Execution: Perform content, linking and technical SEO efforts
  • Provide content recommendations and best practices to improve rankings and site traffic
  • Lead and optimize internal and external site links at scale
  • Support with technical SEO efforts to ensure our website is crawl friendly to search engines
  • Support: Working cross functionally with other team members (Product, Content, BI, PR and Technical teams) to integrate SEO strategies
  • Research & Insights: Strong web analytics background to set goals and forecasts for SEO initiatives
  • Performing research, analyzing data and developing key insights that inform roadmaps
  • Monitors and tracks search engine algorithms, white hat practices and working with a large volume of content
  • Leadership: Managing internal and external content creators and link building partner

Preferred Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience and proven track record in developing successful SEO and digital media  plans
  • Proven track record and application of SEO strategies to high trafficked websites
  • Experience working in a strong metrics driven culture to measure the performance of SEO
  • Exhibit willingness and flexibility to work in a small team environment
  • Expertise in search engine algorithms, white hat practices and working with a large volume of content
  • Proven success in link building and viral strategies
  • Strong data analytics and strategy background and advanced Excel skills
  • Strategic thinker and self-starter keen on taking ownership of his/her channels
  • Strong web analytics background and expert in analytics; Ahrefs, Screaming frog, SEMRush and others
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with online marketing and other departments
  • Stay current on the SEO competitive landscape, best practices and algorithm updates


  • 5+ years of experience and proven track record in developing successful SEO roadmaps for high trafficked websites
  • Strong data analytics and strategy background and advanced Excel skills
  • Expertise working with popular SEO tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
  • Exhibit willingness and flexibility to work in a small team environment
  • Proven success in link building and viral strategies
  • BS/BA degree
  • Experience with Agile is a preferred but, not required.
