About the HR Coordinator Position

The HR Coordinator works closely with People Team in a fast-paced organization. The HR Coordinator is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships; often providing candidates with the first impression of Study.com. Additionally, this position will support the HR Generalist and VP, People with responsibilities, including but not limited to HR systems, benefits and compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Support all hiring activities including posting job ads on various online platforms, scheduling interviews with candidates/team members, and maintaining the Applicant Tracking System (Jazz).
  • Successfully manage multiple candidates and calendars to seamlessly coordinate high-volume and fast-paced interview activity.
  • Identify opportunities for improving recruiting operations and processes.
  • Represent and promote the organization to potential applicants by providing information and responding to questions.
  • Play an integral part of the onboarding administration process and new hire onboarding experience, including sending out new hire paperwork, facilitating new hire orientation, and being the point person for new employees on their first day.
  • Welcome candidates with a concierge touch and facilitate exceptional candidate experience and flawless onsite interviews (Post-COVID)
  • Coordinate candidate travel and expense reimbursement process (Post-COVID)
  • Assist with all benefits and record management activities
  • Support employee engagement programs
  • Partner with office coordinator to ensure a fun and engaging environment  

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a recruiting or HR coordinator position or similarly relevant work experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency with Outlook365 or similar calendaring tool
  • Ability to shift gears at a moment's notice
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ensuring a positive experience for our candidates as well as our internal team
  • Work effectively with internal and external clients and candidates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Please Note: Our primary concern is for the health and well-being of our employees, as well as candidates. Given ongoing COVID concerns, new employees are being onboarded and working remotely. Once we return to the office, this position will be located in our office in Mountain View, CA.   Study.com will be implementing a hybrid model that will include both in-office and remote work.
